Produce
Our locally grown produce is usually available June through November. Our growing season is heavily dependent on the weather, of course. A very rainy spring means we can’t get our tractors into the fields while a very dry summer means a tremendous amount of irrigation to keep everything alive and beautiful. Unfortunately, that is beyond our control but we work hard to grow produce that is of the highest quality. Once it’s ready, our delicious produce is picked daily to ensure that you are getting the freshest vegetables possible.
In the summer, we grow wide variety of vegetables such as peppers, eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, Swiss chard, arugula, green beans, and lettuce. Of course, our most popular summer vegetables are Jersey corn and tomatoes! We grow several different varieties of most vegetables so everyone in your family is sure to find something they like.
The fall growing season brings winter squash including spaghetti, butternut, and acorn as well as cauliflower, broccoli, kale, and spinach. We also grow pumpkins of just about every shape, size and color. Our farm stand located on Route 524 in Howell opens for the summer in May and closes for the season on October 31.
